i was looking forward to going to the NYE countdown @marina all week cause win's got backstage passes. woooooo. then she messaged me in the morning saying she's not feeling well. oh man.
after much much much talking here and there, she decided not to go. BUT BUT BUT luckily enough, yanyou was able to go with me and the pass was transferrable! so we went instead! :D
met rai and he brought us in. woohoo. felt like a celebrity already with all the queue cutting and priority entries. met Jack, Angelina and Melvin later on. :)
there wasnt much to do. so we ate, chilled, take photo and chit chat until the pre-show started. still nothing much interesting. wtf is Singapore Char Siew Baos man?! obviously inspired by the Dim Sum Dollies. no offense, but DSD sound so much cooler can. one is definitely enough. we definitely dont need Siew Mai, Ha Kao, Fishball noodles, Chicken chicken rice coming up next as band names.
i dont really know why we were there exactly cause we didnt help much. i just felt that i should be doing more, but there isnt much. i now understand what winnie means. i felt like an useless intern there and then. well, intern for a day that is. i just try to snap nice photos of them and "capture the moment" LOL what crap.
i cant say that i had "a lot of fun" cause it wouldnt compare to my other experiences. but i can firmly say that it's was a special and good experience. caught my first sight of David Tao when i turned to take a peek into his room and he turned to look at us. his entourage is scary man. 4 in front 4 behind. seriously?
there wasnt much to do. so we decided to eat. wanted to open the tray that contains cheese tarts when this...auntie personnel stopped us. she said, "you cannot eat this. this is for David Tao only."
okayyyyyyyyyyy.
leaving the cheese tarts alone, we said to each other, "when we see David Tao, we're gonna ask him whether he eats cheese tarts. and i bet he's gonna say no. IN YOUR FACE AUNTIE!"
bloody hell.

i had wanted to ask him is he mixed? i dont know why i didnt ask. rare shy moment for peiyi i guess.
in the end we didnt manage to take photo with David Tao. bloody hell. the guy in his entourage just said no when he saw us. i hate it when the star didnt even say anything but their entourage says things like that. big deal. after the guy said no, then DT walked out and he said no too. oh whatever. i can somehow see it in his eyes that he's sorry and that eventhough he wished to take it with us, he couldnt.
OH WHAT THE HELL WHY AM I PUTTING GOOD WORDS FOR HIM.
it's pathetic. it's like his entourage is controlling things. hate that
